Oh come on, you can't really blame the oil for a worn out bar in 2 months. Cheap oil or not, a bar should last way longer than that if you're keeping your chain tension right and not running it dry. I've used the cheapest store brand bar oil for years on my saws and never had a bar go bad that fast. Maybe check your sprocket or how tight you're running that chain instead of pointing fingers at the oil guy.

Learned that lesson myself, wasted a good bar on cheap slick stuff from the big box store.

Totally feel you on that "cheap slick stuff" line. I actually read an article that said a lot of those bargain grip bars use this really soft rubber that just melts and gets slippery as soon as your hands get a little warm. It's like they're not even tested for real use. I used a similar bar once and it literally left a sticky residue all over my hands and the bar, it was disgusting. Ended up just tossing the whole thing because I couldn't get it clean.
