TIL I read 47 books last year without even trying

I was scrolling through my Kindle stats page last night and it said I finished 47 books in 2023. That number stopped me cold because I always figured I was more of a 15-20 book per year reader. Turns out audiobooks during my commute count too, and I had been blasting through them during a 45 minute drive each way to a job site in Livonia. Plus I started keeping a book on my nightstand instead of my phone before bed, which added another 10 or so. The weird thing is I never set a goal or tried to hit a number. It just happened because I swapped scrolling for pages in small chunks. Has anyone else gotten a surprise count when they actually looked at their reading stats for the year?

Same here, it is wild how the small changes just add up.

Cutting my coffee shop runs is saving me about 30 bucks a week.
