Unpopular opinion: I was letting one loud guy run our book club for 8 months
In January I started timing the talk and found he was taking 40 percent of every meeting, so now we pass a kitchen timer and nobody gets more than 5 minutes at a stretch. Anyone else had to do this, and how did the person take it?

That timer thing is honestly genius and way overdue. Some people just dont notice how much space they take until you literally show them the clock. If he got mad about it thats kinda telling right there.
