Went to a book swap at the library and noticed something weird about how people talk about their favorites

I went to this book swap at the downtown library last Saturday. Everyone was standing around talking about the books they brought and why they liked them. But I noticed people kept using the same words like "page turner" and "couldn't put it down" for everything even mysteries and literary fiction. It got me thinking does your book club ever default to describing books in the same tired ways or do you have specific things you look for in a good debate pick?

Did anyone ask why they loved it besides the plot?

Actually I read an interview with the director where she said the soundtrack was specifically chosen to match the emotional beats of each scene. She mentioned they spent months picking out the songs, and it really shows when you watch it again with that in mind.

Oh my goodness, that makes so much sense! I remember watching this movie and feeling like the music just hit you right in the chest during the sad parts. There was one scene where a slow piano piece started playing while the main character was looking out the window, and I got chills. It is impressive they put that much thought into every single song. That really changes how I see the whole movie now.
