An elderly customer told me my headbands were too tight after I trimmed her book's hinge too close, so now I leave a hair's width extra room.

She said it 'pinched like a bad bra strap' and I thought about that every single time I cut one since, so I added a 2mm margin to my routine and it fixed the problem completely, has anyone else gotten weirdly specific feedback that rewired their muscle memory?

So you ever wonder if some customers are actually low-key geniuses with their complaints? That comparison is so specific it practically rewires your brain... "bad bra strap" is one of those descriptions you can't unhear and it forces you to actually feel the problem instead of just seeing a measurement. It's like when a seamstress told me my favorite jacket's sleeves "hung like a sad piano player's arms" and now I can't look at any sleeve without picturing that. Those weird analogies stick in your muscle memory way deeper than any technical correction ever could.

That 'bad bra strap' comparison would definitely stick with me too.

Three bra sizes and zero of them feel right - @oscarc53 that's the secret code!
