Broke my bone folder mid-project yesterday and had to improvise

I was working on a leather bound journal yesterday and my trusty bone folder just snapped in half. Tried using the back of a spoon but it kept leaving weird marks on the leather. Ended up using a smooth hardwood chopstick and honestly it worked better than expected lol. Anyone else ever have a tool break at the worst possible moment and have to get creative?

Did you just shrug and go for it or did you actually look up a tutorial first? Because I tried eating noodles with chopsticks once and ended up flinging a chunk of lo mein across the table into someone's drink. Was it a clean move or a total disaster?
