Heard a client say "it's just glue" and it got me thinking
I was binding a repair for an old journal last week and the owner said that about PVA, like it's no big deal. Really made me realize how much thought we put into picking the right adhesive for every job, so I'm curious what everyone's go-to glue is for different projects?

Used to think glue was glue back when I first started. Definitely changed my mind after a few projects fell apart because I grabbed the wrong thing. Now I'm picky as hell about it.

Kelly, you hit it right on the head. Started this one woodworking project with my dad using regular white glue on some outdoor furniture, and it just melted away the first time it rained. Now I'm standing in the aisle reading labels like I'm studying for a test. Wood glue for wood, super glue for small fixes, epoxy for anything that needs to hold strong where it's wet - it's a whole system. Makes you wonder how many broken things out there are just from grabbing the wrong tube.
