My bone folder snapped mid-signature and I froze

I was folding a 40 page signature for a wedding guest book last Tuesday when my old bone folder just cracked in half right down the middle. The fold line got all crooked on the last 10 pages before I noticed, and honestly I panicked for a minute because I had already glued the spine. I ended up using the back of a butter knife from the kitchen to finish the job, which somehow worked better than the real tool. Does anyone else keep a backup folder nearby or am I just asking for more mid-project disasters?
