That $120 edge folder was a total dud for me

Bought one of those expensive edge folders from a big craft supplier last spring hoping it would speed up my endpapers. The scoring wheel slipped after maybe 20 uses and now it leaves uneven creases on every board. Customer service said it was operator error, which is rich since I've been binding for 8 years. I went back to my old bone folder and a straightedge, works better and cost me nothing extra. Anyone else had luck with a cheaper alternative that actually holds up?

My rusty $5 harbor freight scraper actually makes crisper folds than that folder ever did.
