The old press I got from an estate sale changed my edge game
Picked up a beat-up cast iron nipping press for $40 at an estate sale near Dayton last spring. My first try at rounding and backing went from sloppy to clean in about 4 practice runs. The difference is the even pressure distribution, my old hand clamp just couldn't do that. Now I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar jump from upgrading a basic tool? Did you notice a big shift in your binding quality too?
