Called BS on that 'talk to your plants' thing for years, but I tried it anyway
I've got this sad calathea that kept getting brown edges no matter what I did with watering and humidity levels. Out of desperation I started reading to it for 10 minutes each night while I water my other plants, and the new growth has zero crispy edges after 6 weeks. Has anyone else seen real results from talking to their plants or is this just confirmation bias on my part?

Try a humidifier right next to it for two weeks straight.

For real though, the humidifier trick is no joke. I had a fiddle leaf fig that was dropping leaves like crazy and looked miserable. I put a small humidifier right next to it for two weeks straight and the new growth came in so much healthier. Those crispy brown edges completely stopped forming on the new leaves. Just make sure you're not overwatering at the same time since the humidity keeps the soil moist longer.
