Had to choose between a $40 shop light and a $200 grow light for my indoor seedlings...
I went with the cheap shop light and my peppers are so leggy they look like they're trying to escape the pot, has anyone else had this backfire on them?

Tape the shop light to a piece of white foam board or cardboard bent in a V shape pointed down at the plants. That bounced back light stops them from getting so stretchy. Did that with my tomatoes this year and they stayed short and thick.

@cole994 sure, but doesn't bouncing light off white foam still leave them reaching for that one source underneath? How long did you keep the light on for your tomatoes?
