Hit 50 different plant species in my apartment and it feels wild

Was just counting them up for a watering schedule. Actually got to 50. Started with a snake plant from a grocery store maybe three years back. Now there's stuff like a string of pearls hanging in the bathroom and a monstera that's almost touching the ceiling. Didn't think I'd get this into it. Anyone else have a number that snuck up on them?

I mean, I get why @shane_fisher37 uses a watering schedule, but for me that takes the fun out of it. I just check mine when I walk by and water if the soil feels dry. My 40 or so plants seem fine with that, even my big fiddle leaf fig. Maybe it's just me but a strict schedule feels like a chore.

That's a serious collection. My count is somewhere in the 30s and it absolutely snuck up on me too. I remember getting my first pothos and now there are props of it in every room. The watering schedule is a must once you get past a certain point.
