My ferns finally bounced back after that awful dry spell

I had three Boston ferns on my porch that went crispy and brown during that heat wave in late July. After two weeks of daily misting and moving them to a shadier spot, I spotted fresh green fronds unfurling this morning. Has anyone else nursed a plant back from looking totally dead?

Those fresh fronds are just a temporary illusion before the whole plant gives up for good.

Ugh I used to totally agree with you honestly. I had a peace lily that would perk up and then just give up on me. But one of my ferns actually went full brown and came back the next spring so I guess some of them do have fight left.
