My pothos got root rot after I moved it to a north window, but a friend says south is worse in Tucson
Three weeks ago I moved my 6 year old pothos to a north facing window because my apartment in Tucson hits 105 in summer, and now half the roots are mushy and brown. My friend who has 40 plants says north windows are a death trap here and I should have put it in south with a sheer curtain, but everything I read says south burns pothos leaves. So which is it, north shade with wet soil or south sun with dry soil, and has anyone in a hot dry climate actually tested both?
