Question about the retired guy at the Grand Rapids show who called my pothos "a weed in a pot"
I brought my 6 year old golden pothos to the local plant swap at Riverside Park in Grand Rapids and this retired botanist looked at it for about 10 seconds before telling me it was "just a weed in a pot" and walking off. He wasn't wrong about the species, but the plant came from a cutting my grandma gave me before she passed, so it stung more than a plant opinion should. Does anyone else keep common stuff for the memories instead of the rarity?
