Thought grow lights were overhyped til my basil on the north sill pulled through a whole winter
I figured a cheap $30 LED bar was just hype after my last one fried a tray of seedlings back in 2019, so I stuck everything by the window and watched it stretch thin and pale by January. A neighbor in Buffalo swore by hers and lent me one for my basil and pothos, and six weeks later the leaves were thick and green with no stretch at all. Now I'm wondering if I was just using the wrong one before, so what light setup actually works for you indoors?
