Hot take: The new break room coffee machine is a downgrade

They swapped out the old one at my office in Phoenix for a fancy touchscreen model that takes 3 minutes to brew a single cup. My whole 10 minute break is now spent waiting for it to heat up. Anyone else dealing with a 'smart' appliance that just makes things slower?

Our old machine had the same problem. I just started heating the water before my break so it's ready. Saves a ton of time.

Pre-heating is such a game changer! My old coffee maker was painfully slow too. Starting it early became part of my routine before checking emails. It really does cut down on waiting around when you just need that first cup. Smart little habits make the whole morning smoother.
