I spent $60 on a heated lunch bag and it totally fried my sandwich

I was sick of eating cold food on my break so I bought this electric lunch box from a sale rack at Target. Plugged it in at my desk and after 20 minutes my turkey wrap was steaming and soggy, the cheese was completely melted through the bread. The heating element got so hot it actually scorched the bottom of the bag too. Has anyone found a decent way to keep lunch warm without turning it into a mess?

Used to think of it as a food group, like I'd put fried chicken in its own category, lol. But you're totally right, crispy is just a texture that gets slapped onto everything from bacon to toast. Now I can't unsee it as just the burnt/ crunchy vibe of a food, not the actual food itself. Like, fried pickles and fried Oreos are wildly different things that both got the crispy treatment. It's basically just the audible crunch your teeth make when you bite down. Kinda blew my mind when I actually stopped and thought about it.
