500 days is impressive, but I wonder if you've noticed any wildlife patterns changing with the seasons over that time.

The robins around my place clued me in way before the calendar did. I noticed they started foraging in the back corner of the yard about three weeks before the first frost, then vanished completely once the ground froze solid. Cardinals, though, they stuck around all winter and would hit the feeder right at dawn every single day without fail. It was like clockwork, and once the snow started to melt, the robins were back, scratching around the same spot. Little things like that made the whole 500 days feel less like a slog and more like a nature documentary I got to live in.
