Just realized brewing coffee with a French press beats my drip machine every single time
Tried it side by side last Sunday with the same beans from that local roaster on Elm Street, and the French press gave me way more flavor and less bitterness. Anyone else ditch their auto drip after giving the press a real shot?

Honestly my drip machine's been collecting dust ever since I realized I can just dump hot water on grounds like a lazy caveman.

That 3 minute steep time on the French press really pulls out the oils and flavor compounds the paper filter traps. @ivan_mason you ever try a coarser grind to see if it changes the mouthfeel even more? I'm curious if the sediment is a dealbreaker for you or just part of the charm.
