My coffee break got hijacked by a 40 minute safety video
Wednesday was supposed to be my easy day, you know, grab a cup, relax for fifteen minutes. Instead my supervisor made us watch this old training video about forklift safety, the one from like 2012. It wasn't even the full thing, just the part about pallet stacking, but it dragged on and on. By the time it ended my coffee was cold and my break was gone. I get the point about keeping aisles clear, but can we just send a memo instead of burning everyone's downtime? Has anyone else had their break eaten by something that could've been an email?

That exact thing happened to me once so now I bring a thermos and just sip it during the video, no shame about it at all. Cold coffee is a crime and I refuse to be a victim twice.

Oh man, preach. I learned that lesson the hard way too. Now I just pre-game the caffeine before I even sit down. Saves the whole ordeal.
