Rant: The coffee shop near my hospital changed how I handle my 3 AM break forever.
I saw a barista there calmly reset their entire espresso machine after a rush, which made me realize I should do a full mental reset during my own breaks instead of just scrolling on my phone, so now I step outside for exactly five minutes of quiet no matter the weather.

That's a smart observation about small rituals. A lot of jobs have these tiny reset points that get overlooked. It's about finding that deliberate pause instead of just filling the time.

Yeah the walk thing is key. I just stare at a wall for two minutes, no screens, and it's like my brain reboots lol.

Copy that method exactly. A hard mental reset is the only thing that works when you're that deep into a shift. I started doing a five minute walk around the block, no phone, and it changed everything.
