That moment at the deli counter made me choose between two tuna salads
I was standing at the deli counter in my local Safeway on Tuesday trying to pick between the regular tuna salad and the one with celery and walnuts for my lunch break. I grabbed the one with celery and walnuts and man it was a game changer, the crunch made the sandwich way better than I expected. Has anyone else had a random deli counter choice totally make or break your break time meal?

Honestly, my friend grabbed the wrong tuna salad once and gagged on weird pickles.

Man, pickles in tuna is a whole thing, but nobody talks about the mood you gotta be in for it. Like, you can't just stumble into a pickle tuna situation. Your brain has to be ready for that crunch in the soft fish. If you're expecting a smooth bite and get that snap, it's a shock to the whole system. It's not even about the taste half the time, it's the texture surprise that gets you.

That's one way to find out you do not, in fact, like pickles in your tuna. I'm guessing your friend won't be grabbing the wrong container again anytime soon. Bet that taste stuck around longer than the weird pickle smell.
