The 5 minute trick that fixed my sore lower back on work breaks

I spend most days bent over sinks and under houses, and my lower back was killing me by mid afternoon. A customer mentioned he had the same problem and started standing on one leg while he waited for coffee to brew. I tried it during my lunch breaks last week, just standing on my right leg for 30 seconds then switching, and it actually loosened up my hips. Has anyone else found a weird little stretch that helped with a work related ache?

Did you try that calf raise thing on a flat surface too?

A buddy of mine had the same issue from roofing and he started doing calf raises on the edge of a step while waiting for his coffee. He said it took like a week but his hips stopped feeling so tight at the end of the day. Might sound dumb but worth a shot if the one leg thing works for you.

Whoa, one week seems awfully fast for hip tightness to just disappear like that.
