Told my buddy his iced coffee habit was stupid... now I'm hooked

My coworker Dave in accounting always drinks iced coffee even when it's 30 degrees out. I used to tease him about it, saying hot coffee is the only real way. Then yesterday he made me try a cup from that place on Main Street with the caramel foam on top and man I get it now. The cold makes the flavor hit different I guess? Has anyone else completely flipped on a drink or food just because of how someone served it?

Read something saying cold brewing makes it less bitter, that's probably it.

Are you telling me that caramel foam is what cracked the code for you? I mean, Ive seen people get real defensive about their coffee habits, but a whole personality change over some cold brew with a fancy top is honestly hilarious. @stellaa69 probably saw this coming from a mile away, like she knew your buddy Dave was just ahead of the curve. Idk, maybe its just me but the whole iced coffee in winter thing still feels wrong, even if the flavor is supposedly better cold. Next thing you know youre gonna be buying a Yeti cup and sipping it while shoveling snow, huh?
