Aldi had a 4 pack of paper towels for $3.49 last week and I grabbed 6
I was at the Aldi on Elm Street last Tuesday just grabbing milk and eggs when I noticed their paper towels were marked down even lower than usual. Normally I get the store brand at Kroger for around $5 a pack, but these were $3.49 for a 4 pack and they actually hold up better for spills. Has anyone else found random deals like this at Aldi that beat regular grocery stores by a long shot?

Oh man, Aldi deals are no joke. I grabbed a 6 pack of their paper towels a couple weeks ago because they were cheaper than the generic at Walmart and honestly they soak up way more without falling apart. My kitchen floor sees a lot of spills and these things actually hold together for the whole cleanup. It's wild how much cheaper they are compared to the name brand stuff at the big stores.

That's a solid point about them holding together, @nora_walker57. Do you find the paper towels actually have a noticeable difference in thickness compared to the cheap store brands, or is it more about the ply holding up when wet? I've been burned by too many flimsy rolls that fall apart on the first swipe.

Oh man, you're so right about that. @nora_walker57 I grabbed those same paper towels last month on a whim and they're actually better than the Bounty ones I used to buy. My toddler spills juice like it's his job and these things don't just turn into a wet mess that shreds apart. I've also been buying their trash bags and dishwasher pods and honestly the quality is way higher than I expected for the price. It's like Aldi figured out how to make stuff that's actually good instead of just cheap.
