Pro tip: hunting down a $2.99 replacement part for my $15 thrift store lamp took me 4 months
Bought this old brass lamp at a Goodwill in Mesa for $15 back in March, and the little plastic switch knob snapped off so I figured I'd just grab a cheap replacement somewhere. Four months, three hardware stores, two online orders that sent the wrong size, and one guy at an Ace in Tempe who laughed at me later, I finally found a $2.99 knob at a flea market that fits, and honestly I'm not sure the whole hunt was worth it. Do you all keep fixing the cheap stuff or just toss it once the parts get annoying?
