The $9 scale at Aldi saved my grocery budget last Tuesday
Last month I kept grabbing the cheapest ground beef without checking weight, ended up paying $4 more per pack than I thought. Last Tuesday at the Aldi on Ridge Road, I finally used the produce scale to weigh a few packages and saw the price per pound difference was huge for the same size. Now I spend 2 minutes weighing things like chicken and cheese before tossing them in the cart. Anyone else notice stores hide the per-pound cost on bulk items, or is it just me?

So you weighed the packs and the cheap ones were actually the worst deal, right?
