Hit $50 for weekly groceries in Ohio and it changed how I meal plan

I moved to Columbus last month and started tracking every grocery trip. After 3 weeks I realized I was spending exactly $50 a week on just myself. That number surprised me because I thought I was closer to $80. Now I'm debating whether this $50 target is a realistic budget or if I'm just eating too much pasta and rice. Has anyone else hit a surprising grocery number that made them rethink their meal prep strategy?

Yeah right on, $50 is my magic number too ever since I started buying frozen veggies in bulk!

Oh man, frozen veggies are such a game changer for keeping the grocery bill down! I do the same thing with those big bags of broccoli and mixed peppers, they last forever and you don't have to worry about them going bad. Plus it's way easier to just toss a handful into whatever you're cooking without having to chop anything up.

Frozen veggies and a $50 weekly cap transformed my own Columbus grocery routine too.
