I was dead wrong about frozen veggies being a letdown

Been buying the store brand frozen mixed veg for $1.29 a bag and they're actually crispier than the fresh ones I was throwing out after a week... Has anyone else found a frozen item that surprised them?

Guess you got the lottery bag of frozen veggies, huh? Next time try the organic brand, they're just as hit or miss but twice the price. Gotta love the frozen aisle casino where you roll the dice on quality every single purchase. I swear some bags have more stems than a gardening center while others are all florets and no regrets. Still beats paying $4 for fresh herbs that die in my fridge after two days though.

Store brand frozen broccoli surprised me once and then the next bag was all stems and mush. It's frozen veggies, not exactly life changing stuff. Maybe you just got lucky with that particular bag.
