My sister bought those organic bagged salads for 2 years before she finally did the math one night. She figured out she was paying almost $4 more per bag compared to the regular stuff, and she was going through 3 bags a week. I had a similar moment when I compared organic apples to regular ones at Kroger, they were literally double the price. At the end of the day, I wash my veggies really well and call it good, my wallet can't handle that kind of markup for something that might not even matter.
