I got a bag of veggies for next to nothing this week. How common are these programs where you live?

I mean, "next to nothing" is still probably more than I should pay given my talent for accidentally burning vegetables. Idk if we have that specific setup here, but the idea is pretty cool. Maybe it's just me but I'd probably feel guilty and overpay to make up for my future kitchen crimes.

Setting a timer for half the cooking time saved my veggies from turning into charcoal. From what I've seen, it gives you a chance to catch them before they burn. Your mileage may vary, but it worked for me.
