Vent: found out a box of store brand mac and cheese costs $0.79 and now my kids think I'm a wizard
I was poking around the receipt from the Kroger on 5th in Springfield last week and did the math, and one box of the plain yellow store brand stuff comes out to $0.79 compared to $1.29 for the blue box. My kids didn't even blink when I swapped it, so I've been quietly patting myself on the back all week. Has anyone else found a swap like that where the cheap version slipped right past the family?
