Why does nobody talk about the free produce box at the church on Delmar?
I was at a potluck at my neighbor Rosa's church over on Delmar Blvd last Saturday and she pointed me to the produce box by the side door, no paperwork, no questions, just take what you need. I grabbed two bags of collards, six sweet potatoes, and a bag of apples and made three dinners plus a pot of soup out of it, maybe $2 in seasoning was all I spent. They restock every Saturday at 9am and the line is mostly older folks, so if you're shy about going, don't be. Does anyone here know of other churches or community spots doing the same thing around St. Louis?
