A hostel owner in Lisbon told me to skip the 3 day pass and I ignored him
Back in 2019 I stayed at a place near Rossio and the guy running it said don't buy the 3 day metro pass for 15 euros, just walk everywhere in the center. I bought it anyway out of habit and used it maybe twice, the rest of the time my feet did the work. Walking from Alfama up to Bairro Alto and back taught me more about the city than any train ride, and I pocketed nothing on that pass. Does anyone else find that the paid transit passes only pay off when you're covering real distance, not wandering a walkable core?
