My brother found a flight to Lisbon for $400 last week. I just paid almost double that because I was too stubborn to listen. I am officially the family idiot.

Honestly we've all been there. I booked a flight to Dublin for like $700 once, then saw it drop to $450 the next day. Now I just set a price alert on Google Flights and wait it out, even if it makes me nervous. Sometimes you just have to ignore that urge to book right away.
