Pro tip: skip the airport currency kiosks, I lost $38 in Rome
Changed $300 at a kiosk outside Termini station and got hit with a 12% fee I never noticed until I did the math at my hostel. The ATM two blocks away gave me a way better rate for a flat $3 fee. Has anyone found a bank that refunds those foreign ATM fees?
