Had a cashier at Target talk me out of buying $30 worth of stuff I didn't need
I was at the Target on Broadway in Denver last Tuesday with a cart full of clearance snacks and impulse decor. The cashier just looked at me and said 'you really gonna eat all that before it goes bad?' and I put half of it back. Saved like $18 right there and it stuck with me more than any budgeting app ever did. Anyone else have a stranger call them out like that?

Respect that cashier for looking out like that. Honestly wish more retail workers would give people a dose of reality instead of just scanning stuff.

That's the thing though, most people just want to get through their shift without drama. It's like society forgot how to just talk to each other like normal humans.
