I was dead wrong about grocery delivery services
For years I swore grocery delivery was just for lazy people who didn't mind wasting money on fees. Then my car broke down for two weeks back in March and I had no choice but to try it. After adding up the $7 delivery fee against what I normally spend on impulse buys inside the store, I actually came out ahead by $12 on my first order. Now I do it once a month for the heavy stuff and just walk to the corner store for milk and bread. Has anyone else had a change of heart about something they used to hate on?

The $7 fee turned into $25 in hidden markups on my last order.

$7 to $25 is actually cheaper than what I've paid for bad math skills. Solid detective work @the_elliot.

bro my last delivery charged me $9 just to have someone pick out the saddest bananas on the shelf and a carton of milk that expired two days later. hard pass.
