My $7 impulse buy almost wrecked my grocery budget last Tuesday
I was at the checkout at the Kroger on Elm Street and grabbed a fancy cheese I did not need because I was starving. Got home and saw I had blown $7 on it when my weekly food budget was already down to $18 left for 3 days. I returned it the next morning, grabbed eggs and rice instead, and fed myself for $11 total. Felt dumb but also proud. Has anyone else bought something dumb just because they shopped hungry?
