My car insurance was about to jump by $60 a month until I called and asked about a defensive driving discount.
I mean, I just mentioned a class I took years ago, and they knocked $22 off my premium right there, so has anyone else had luck just calling and asking for a specific discount they might qualify for?

My premium went up $40 last year and I was so mad. I called just to complain, and they found a "loyalty discount" I didn't even know about that cut it by $15. It's wild how much they don't tell you.

Call them every renewal. I ask if there are any new discounts I'm missing, and they usually find something. What else have you tried asking for?
