My coworker laughed at me for meal prepping rice and beans every day... until I showed her my savings spreadsheet
So I got a new job about 6 months ago and this lady in the break room kept making comments about my lunches. She'd be like "rice again?" or "you must really like beans lol." Honestly it got annoying. But one day she sits down next to me and asks how much I actually save doing this. I pulled up my phone and showed her my budget app. I spend about $20 a week on lunch ingredients vs her $60 at the deli. Her jaw dropped and she asked me to show her how. Now we prep together every Sunday. Have you guys ever converted someone at work to your budgeting ways or am I just weirdly persuasive haha

Honestly it's wild how much people sleep on the small habits until they see the numbers add up. Most folks don't realize that the biggest money leaks come from stuff we do every day without thinking, like buying lunch or grabbing coffee. Once you actually show someone the math behind a simple routine it clicks for them hard.

Isn't it crazy how those little things sneak up on you, @james_campbell12?
