Just realized my workshop lighting was set up backwards for 4 years

I rearranged my garage shop last Saturday and flipped my workbench to face the other wall. The 4 foot LED strips I hung along the back wall were casting shadows right where my drill press sits. Turns out the guy who helped me set it up in 2021 had me put the lights behind where I stand, not over the machine. One afternoon of moving two fixtures and I can finally see the bit going into the wood without squinting. Has anyone else discovered their light placement was fighting them the whole time?
