Lost $400 on a CNC dust collection setup I never should have bought

Last month I figured I'd upgrade my shop in Austin with a fancy cyclone separator and a 2HP blower. Watched like 6 youtube reviews, all positive, so I pulled the trigger. Turns out my little 1-car garage layout just cant handle the hose runs, it kept clogging every 20 minutes. Spent a whole saturday fighting it, then sold the whole thing for $150 on craigslist. Anyone else buy gear that sounds awesome but just doesnt fit their actual workspace? What did you do instead?
