Warning: lost a whole day's worth of data at the Austin build meet because no one labeled their power cords.
Three rigs got unplugged during a cable shuffle and we spent 6 hours tracing connections instead of actually building anything, has anyone else dealt with a setup that falls apart the second you touch one wire?

Had a buddy who went through this at a different meetup. He started using colored electrical tape on both ends of every cable before plugging anything in. Said it saved his group hours of headache the next time someone needed to reroute a cable. Might be worth grabbing a few rolls for the next build, cheap fix compared to losing six hours.
