Appreciation post: The way a barista in Seattle organized her notebook changed how I set up my weekly spread

I was waiting for my coffee at a shop on Capitol Hill and saw her open journal on the counter, with a simple grid for tracking orders and a color key for drink types. I realized I'd been overcomplicating my own work log with fancy layouts, so I switched to a basic grid system for my shop's daily tasks. Has anyone else simplified their setup after seeing how someone else uses their bujo in a different job?

Totally stole a teacher's layout once.

Hate to break it to you but stealing a layout isn't that deep. Teachers have been recycling the same lesson plans for decades. Half the time they just copy from each other anyway. Unless you're talking about stealing their personal laptop or something, it's not a big deal. I've seen teachers literally print out worksheets from the internet and claim them as their own. It's pretty hypocritical to get mad about a layout. Let's be real, nobody is losing sleep over a PowerPoint slide.

Stole a teacher's layout" reminds me of that old forum story.
