Dropped my whole bujo in the sink last Tuesday

I was filling in my habit tracker at the coffee shop near my work when my drink tipped over and soaked the whole spread. The ink bled through about 8 pages and the cover is still crinkly. Anyone got tips for saving a water damaged journal without starting over?

Oh, did you try the freezer trick yet? My buddy Mike dropped his entire field notes book in a puddle at a construction site once. He swore by sticking it in the freezer for a few hours then letting it thaw on paper towels. It didn't fix the crinkles but it stopped the ink from turning into a messy blur. He also used a hairdryer on low heat to dry the pages one by one after that. The book ended up looking like a relic from a shipwreck but at least he could still read his entries.

Whoa hold on, the freezer trick? That's wild. I gotta be honest, I'd be way too scared to try that. My luck would be the ink freezes and cracks or something. I'd probably just cry over the sink for a bit. But seriously, putting a whole wet journal in the freezer sounds like a prank your buddy would pull on you. I guess if it worked for his field notes book then maybe it's not total BS. Still, I'd probably just let it air dry with a fan on it and hope for the best.
