Found my old 2016 bullet journal in a box at my parents' house in Dayton and wow, my layouts were wild
Honestly I was cleaning out my old closet at my parents' place in Dayton last Saturday and found my first bullet journal from 2016 stuffed in a shoebox. I used to draw this huge 8-box monthly spread with 3 different colored pens and spent like 40 minutes setting it up before I even wrote anything down. Ngl it looked cool but I never actually used half those boxes, and my dailies were just endless lists with no space to breathe. Now my whole setup is one black pen and a simple week across 2 pages, done in about 5 minutes. It's funny how much simpler it got once I stopped trying to make it pretty. Did anyone else go through a crazy detailed phase and then strip it all back down?
