I finally looked at my bullet journal from 2020 and cringed
I was cleaning out a drawer last week and found my first bullet journal, a simple black notebook. I flipped through it and saw I had filled every single page with perfect, color-coded trackers and weekly spreads. It hit me that I spent more time drawing straight lines with a ruler than actually writing down my tasks. The moment I realized it was when I saw a note from March that just said 'buy milk' surrounded by a huge, elaborate floral border. Has anyone else moved from making it super fancy to keeping it plain and useful?

Your milk must have felt like a museum exhibit in that frame.

Museums are for old bones and paintings. It's a carton of milk, @the_mary. People are acting like it's a lost artifact. It sat on a shelf for a bit, that's all. The whole thing is getting a bit dramatic for dairy.

Wait, you framed the milk carton? I have to know, was it like a proper picture frame on the wall, or did you just set it on a shelf and call it art? That's a whole new level of commitment.
